2 Ingredient Apple Pie Cups

These 2 Ingredient Apple Pie Cups combine refrigerated cinnamon rolls and apple pie filling for an easy, single-serving dessert. Pressing the cinnamon rolls into muffin tins creates a flaky, sweet cup that bakes into a golden crust holding warm spiced apple filling. The apple pie cups are finished with the cinnamon roll frosting drizzled on top, offering a creamy contrast to the buttery, cinnamon pastry and tender fruit.

Description

The 2 Ingredient Apple Pie Cups use ready-to-bake cinnamon rolls pressed into a muffin pan to form individual crust cups. Filling them with apple pie filling introduces a soft, spiced fruit component inside the flaky pastry. Baking at 375°F for about 15-18 minutes cooks the cinnamon rolls thoroughly while heating the apple filling until bubbly and tender.

Once baked and slightly cooled, the cinnamon roll frosting included in the package is drizzled over the apple pie cups, adding a sweet, creamy glaze that complements the warm cinnamon and apples. The result is a handheld apple pie-style dessert that is quick to assemble and requires minimal ingredients.

This recipe lends itself well to serving warm as a cozy treat or dessert portion. The combination of soft apples inside a spiced cinnamon crust with the frosting drizzle creates a balanced sweetness and texture with crisp edges and tender centers.
