29 Minute Spaghetti Sauce

Ditch the store-bought jar for this easy spaghetti sauce recipe, made in under 30 minutes! It's delicious, gluten free & vegan!

Ingredients
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- 4 cloves garlic minced
- 15 oz tomato sauce canned
- 28 oz plum tomato diced, peeled, canned
- 6 oz tomato paste canned
- ¼ cup red wine
- 2 tbsp basil chopped, fresh
- 1 tsp parsley dried
- 1 tsp black pepper
- ½ tsp oregano dried
- ½ tsp salt
Instructions
- Heat the olive oil in a large skillet, or dutch oven, over medium heat.
- Add the garlic and sauté for 1 minute.
- Add the tomato sauce, diced peeled plum tomatoes, tomato paste and red wine.
- Add the basil, parsley, black pepper, oregano and salt.
- Mix together and bring to a simmer.
- Cover, reduce heat to low and simmer for 20-25 minutes.
