Ingredients

Servings
  • 12 to 15 pieces string beans cut into 2 ½ inch length
  • 3 pieces tofu about 3 oz. per piece, fried until medium brown, extra firm
  • 1 yellow onion sliced, medium
  • 1/2 cup soy sauce
  • 1/4 cup water
  • 1/4 cup white vinegar
  • 5 cloves garlic crushed
  • 3 tablespoons neutral cooking oil generic cooking oil
  • salt to taste
  • black pepper

Instructions

  1. Slice the fried tofu into squares. Set aside.
  2. Heat the cooking oil in a pan.
  3. Saute garlic and onion until the onion is soft.
  4. Put-in the sliced tofu. Add soy sauce and water. Let boil.
  5. Pour-in the vinegar. Let it reboil.
  6. Add the string beans. Stir and cover. Simmer for 5 minutes.
  7. Add salt and pepper to taste.
  8. Transfer to a serving bowl. Serve.
  9. Share and enjoy!
