Agua De Fresa

Agua De Fresa is a refreshing strawberry drink made by blending fresh strawberries with water, lime juice, and simple syrup. After pureeing and chilling, it is garnished with strawberry cubes to add texture and can be served over ice for a cool, fruity beverage.

Description

This recipe for Agua De Fresa uses fresh, quartered strawberries blended with water to create a smooth base. Lime juice adds citrus brightness, while simple syrup sweetens the drink. After blending, the mixture is refrigerated to chill and deepen flavors. Small diced strawberries reserved for garnish provide a pleasant contrast to the smooth liquid and add a fresh note when served.

Agua De Fresa is served cold over ice, making it a light and thirst-quenching drink ideal for warm weather. The balance of sweet and tart highlights the freshness of the strawberries while the lime enhances the overall flavor.

For storage, the strawberry water should be kept in a sealed container and refrigerated immediately to maintain freshness. It can also be frozen in appropriate containers with space for expansion, then thawed gradually in the fridge to preserve flavor and texture.
