Ingredients

Servings
  • 12 ounces broccoli
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice fresh
  • 1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt

Instructions

  1. Preheat the air fryer to 360ºF and cut the broccoli into small pieces. You want to make sure there are no very thick stems, which might not get tender during the short cooking time. I usually cut the broccoli florets in half, or into quarters.
  2. In a large bowl, toss the broccoli with the olive oil, lemon juice, garlic powder, and salt. Once it's evenly coated, transfer the broccoli to the preheated air fryer and cook at 360ºF for 9 to 10 minutes.
  3. The broccoli is usually done in 10 minutes, but you can add a minute or two more, if you need to. Serve warm right away for the crispiest results. This seasoning is delicious on its own, or you can add any other toppings you like, too. Leftover broccoli can be stored in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 5 days, but it's crispiest the first day you make it.

Notes

  • Nutrition information is for half the batch. This is just an estimate, and not a guarantee.
  • If you'd like to cook frozen broccoli in the air fryer, you'll need to thaw it for 360ºF for 5 minutes first. Then add the seasoning, and return to the air fryer to cook at 360ºF for another 5 to 10 minutes, or until the edges are crispy.
