Ingredients

  • 2 pounds carrot medium-sized, approx. 1 kg
  • 2 tablespoon butter unsalted, melted
  • tbsp honey
  • salt to taste
  • black pepper to taste
  • 2 tablespoon herbs to garnish, chopped, optional
  • ½ lemon small, optional

Instructions

  1. Peel the carrots (optional) for a more even texture and better presentation, or rinse and pat them dry to remove dirt.
  2. Cut the carrots diagonally into ½″ (1.25 cm) thick pieces. Try to cut them evenly to ensure even cooking.
  3. Place the carrots in a large bowl, add melted butter, honey, salt, and pepper.Toss so the carrots are evenly coated with the seasoning.
  4. Transfer the carrots in a single layer to the air fryer basket. Work in batches if necessary to avoid overcrowding.
  5. Set the air fryer to 375°F (190°C) and cook for 9 to 10 minutes, shaking the basket 1-2 times during cooking, to ensure the carrots cook evenly.
  6. Once done, transfer to a bowl, drizzle with lemon juice, and garnish with fresh herbs if desired. Serve warm.
