Air Fryer Nachos

Air Fryer Nachos are layered tortilla chips topped with cooked ground beef and shredded cheese, quickly heated in an air fryer until the cheese melts. This method results in warm, gooey nachos with crispy edges without the need for an oven.

Description

This recipe layers tortilla chips with pre-cooked seasoned ground beef and shredded cheese in an air fryer basket, filling it partially to allow even cooking. It’s cooked at 350°F for just a few minutes until the cheese melts thoroughly. The layering technique helps retain cheese on the chips and prevents it from dripping through the basket. The quick cooking time preserves chip crunch while warming the toppings.

The result is a convenient way to prepare nachos with melty cheese and flavorful ground beef, suitable for a snack or casual meal. Additional toppings or salsas can be added after cooking for extra flavor and texture.

Practical advice includes monitoring the cooking closely to prevent burning, overlapping chips to keep cheese in place, and optionally using foil liners for easy cleanup and removal.
