Instructions
- In a shallow bowl, mix the breadcrumbs, 1/2 cup Parmesan, and 2 teaspoons of the basil.
- Place flour and eggs in two separate shallow bowls.
- Dip each ravioli in flour to coat both sides and shake off the excess. Dip in eggs and then in breadcrumb mixture patting to help the coating adhere.
- In a small bowl, combine the remaining 1/2 cup Parmesan and 1/2 teaspoon basil. Set aside.
- Preheat the air fryer to 350 F.
- In batches, arrange ravioli in a single layer in the air fryer basket.; spritz with cooking spray or oil.
- Cook 3-4 minutes or until golden brown.
- Turn ravioli over and spritz the second side with spray/oil. Cook an additional 3-4 minutes or until the second side is nicely browned.
- Remove from the air fryer and immediately sprinkle with the reserved Parmesan-basil mixture.
- Serve warm with marinara sauce on the side.
Notes
- I recommend thawing the ravioli before cooking it in the air fryer to get even cooking throughout. If you want to try cooking from frozen, add a couple of minutes of time per side.
- To make this recipe in the oven - prepare the ravioli as directed in the recipe. Place them on a parchment paper lined baking sheet and cook in the oven at 350 degrees for 10 to 15 minutes. Flip the ravioli and continue cooking for an additional 5-6 minutes.
