Description
This Air Fryer Salmon recipe features salmon fillets patted dry and seasoned simply with fresh lemon juice, paprika, garlic powder, sea salt, and black pepper. The seasoning enhances the salmon’s natural flavors without overwhelming its delicate taste.
Cooking the salmon in the air fryer at 200°C (400°F) for 8 to 10 minutes yields fillets that flake easily with a fork, with a slight crispness on the outside. The method allows for minimal oil, achieved by spraying the air fryer basket, keeping the dish light.
The simple preparation is convenient for weeknight dinners or when a lean protein is needed quickly. To ensure even cooking, salmon fillets should be of similar thickness and not overcrowded in the air fryer basket.

Ingredients
- 240 g salmon fillets
- 0.5 lemon juice only
- 0.5 teaspoon paprika
- 0.5 teaspoon garlic powder
- Cooking spray oil
- sea salt
- black pepper
Instructions
- Pat 240 g Salmon fillets with paper towel.
- Squeeze juice of 0.5 Lemon over the salmon. Sprinkle over 0.5 teaspoon Paprika, 0.5 teaspoon Garlic powder and Sea salt and ground black pepper.
- Spray the bottom of the air fryer basket with Spray oil and place the salmon in to it.
- Cook at 200°C/400°F for 8-10 minutes, until the salmon flakes with a fork.
Notes
- For additional flavor, incorporate a spoonful of Dijon mustard into the seasoning.
- Ensure salmon fillets are of uniform thickness for even cooking.
- Avoid overcrowding the air fryer basket; cook in batches if necessary for crispness.
