Description
To prepare Air Fryer Salmon Bites, salmon fillets are cut into bite-sized pieces and marinated in a blend of sweet chili sauce, liquid aminos, sriracha, toasted sesame oil, and grated garlic for an hour to allow the flavors to penetrate. After marinating, the salmon pieces are arranged in a preheated air fryer at 400°F, cooked for 5 to 8 minutes depending on thickness, until cooked through but still tender inside.
The air fryer provides a crispy exterior without requiring additional oil, complementing the rich flavors of the marinade. The combination of sweet chili and spicy sriracha balances heat with sweetness, while liquid aminos provide umami depth and sesame oil adds a toasted aroma, resulting in flavorful bite-sized pieces suitable as appetizers or part of a meal.
Ingredients
- 1 pound salmon skinless
- ¼ cup sweet chili sauce sugar-free
- 2 tablespoons liquid aminos
- 1 teaspoon sriracha
- 1 teaspoon sesame oil toasted
- 1 clove garlic grated
Instructions
- Cut your salmon into bite size pieces.
- Place them in a food storage bag, then pour in the chili sauce, liquid aminos, Sriracha, toasted sesame oil and garlic.
- Seal up the bag and allow to marinate in the fridge for 1 hour.
- Preheat your air fryer to 400°F for 5 minutes.
- Add the marinated salmon bites to the basket, making sure they’re not overlapping.
- Air fry for 5-8 minutes or until cooked through. Cook times will depend on the thickness of your salmon.
