Air Fryer Salmon Patties
Description
This recipe uses wild salmon, mixed with red onion, dill, mayonnaise, Dijon mustard, and Old Bay seasoning for a flavorful base. Panko breadcrumbs and eggs provide structure, and chilling the mixture before shaping helps the patties hold together during cooking. Cooking in the air fryer at 400°F crisps the exterior to a golden finish while keeping the interior tender. Flipping halfway promotes even browning.
The finished salmon patties have a balanced texture from the firm exterior and soft, flaky interior. Serving suggestions include placing them on potato buns, over a bed of greens, or in a bowl with lemon wedges to add brightness. They make a protein-rich meal or appetizer.
Optionally, a remoulade sauce made with mayonnaise, lemon juice, and capers can be prepared to accompany the patties for extra flavor.

- In a medium bowl combine the egg, onion, dill, mayo, mustard and Old Bay spice and mix. Add the salmon and panko and mix to combine.
