Air Fryer Stuffing

It's easy to make delicious sausage stuffing in the air fryer!

Ingredients
- 7 ounces (156g) Italian sausages 2 sausage links
- 4 cups (164g) crusty bread or croutons
- 2 talks celery chopped
- ½ onion chopped
- ½ cup (110g) chicken broth plus more as needed
- 1 tablespoon butter
- ¼ cup (32.5g) dried cranberries
- ½ teaspoon garlic powder
- ½ teaspoon dried onions
- ½ teaspoon Italian seasoning
- 1 prig fresh sage chopped
Instructions
- Preheat your air fryer to 350 degrees F / 180 degrees.
- Place the Italian sausages into the air fryer basket and cook for 12-15 minutes or until cooked through. Turn halfway through cooking.
- Remove the sausages and allow them to cool slightly. Discard the casings and chop the sausage into small pieces.
- In a large mixing bowl, combine the sausages with the bread cubes, vegetables, melted butter, cranberries, garlic powder, dried onions, chopped sage, and Italian seasoning.
- Slowly add the broth, mixing the ingredients until the mixture is just moist but not wet. You may need additional broth, up to 1 cup total.
- Place the stuffing mixture into an air fryer safe baking dish. Place the dish into the air fryer tray for 10-12 minutes or until golden brown and heated through.
Notes
- Make sure you have a dish that fits inside your air fryer basket.
- Air fry the sausage before adding it to the mixture.
- Cube the bread into small, bite-sized pieces.
- You can saute the celery and onion before adding to the stuffing if you prefer it to be a bit more tender.
- Make the stuffing mix in advance for easy meal prep.
- Melt the butter before adding it to the stuffing mixture.
- If the stuffing is dry, add more chicken stock.
- Serve with sweet potatoes for a yummy Thanksgiving dinner.
- Spritz the top of the stuffing with olive oil or cooking spray to help it brown better in the air fryer.
