Air Fryer Stuffing Balls
Description
This recipe involves mixing dry stuffing mix with hot water and butter, allowing it to rest five minutes to absorb liquid fully. The mixture is then divided into sixteen equal portions rolled into balls to ensure even cooking. Cooking in an air fryer at 180°C (350°F) crisps the outsides while keeping the inside tender.
The size and spacing of the balls are important; smaller balls cook faster and hold together better, while sufficient air circulation prevents squashing and promotes even cooking. The crispy exterior contrasts with a moist interior, providing a pleasing texture.
This method is convenient for making stuffing balls rapidly without heating an oven fully and can be served alongside roasted meats or as a side dish during festive meals.
Flavor can be customized, for example, by adding Dijon mustard to the mix before shaping. Cooking in batches may be necessary depending on air fryer capacity to maintain good airflow.

Notes
- Roll stuffing balls uniformly and keep them small to ensure even cooking and prevent them from falling apart.
