Ingredients
Classic Flavor
- 4 corn tortillas
- 1 tablespoon oil
- ⅛ teaspoon fine salt
Lime Flavor
- 4 corn tortillas
- 1 tablespoon oil
- 1 tablespoon lime juice (about ½ lime)
- ⅛ teaspoon fine salt
Spicy Chipotle Flavor
- 4 corn tortillas
- 1 tablespoon oil
- ½ teaspoon chipotle powder
- ½ teaspoon garlic powder
- ½ teaspoon onion powder
- ¼ teaspoon paprika
- ⅛ teaspoon fine salt
BBQ Flavor
- 4 corn tortillas
- 1 tablespoon oil
- ½ tablespoon red wine vinegar
- 1 teaspoon light brown sugar
- ½ teaspoon smoked paprika
- ½ teaspoon garlic powder
- ⅛ teaspoon fine salt
Instructions
- In a small bowl, combine the oil and seasonings of the flavor of your choice.
- Brush both sides of all the tortillas with the seasoning mixture.
- Stack the tortillas on top of each other, and then cut the stack into quarters to form 16 triangles.
- Arrange the tortilla chips in a single layer in your air fryer basket and air fry at 350°F for about 6 minutes*, or until the chips start to brown around the edges. You will probably need to do this in batches since the air fryer basket is typically small.
- Carefully transfer the chips to a wire rack to cool completely. Don’t worry if they’re not super crunchy at this point - they will get crispier as they cool down.
- Serve immediately or store in an airtight container at room temperature for up to 1 week.
Notes
- All air fryers are different, so I recommend checking on the chips at the 5-minute mark to see how they look. You may need to remove any that are already crunchy and cooked, then continue cooking the rest.
- Here's the air fryer that I have.
