- 500 gms pork mince or beef or a mix of both
- 1 egg
- 1 garlic finely chopped, clove
- 1 tbsp parsley chopped

- 4 breadcrumbs 5 tablespoons

- 3 tbsp extra virgin olive oil
- 100 gms almonds ½ cup, blanched
- 1 garlic sliced, 2 cloves
- 2 bread slices or pieces
- 1 pinch saffron
- 50 ml white wine ¼ cup
- 300 ml water 1 1/3 cups
- 1 bay leaf
- salt to taste
- black pepper to taste
