Ambrosia Pie

Ambrosia Pie combines crushed pineapple, mandarin oranges, coconut flakes, and miniature marshmallows with instant vanilla pudding and sour cream, spooned into a graham cracker crust. The chilled pie is creamy and fruity with contrasting textures from marshmallows and coconut, making it a refreshing dessert with tropical flavors.

Description

This Ambrosia Pie starts by mixing crushed pineapple with instant vanilla pudding mix, sour cream, and lemon juice to create a smooth, tangy base. To this, miniature marshmallows and sweetened coconut flakes are folded in along with drained mandarin orange segments. The mixture is then transferred to a pre-made graham cracker crust and refrigerated for several hours to set.

The finished pie has a creamy, cool filling that balances the tartness of lemon and pineapple with the sweetness of marshmallows. The coconut adds a chewy texture, and mandarin oranges provide juicy bursts of citrus. The graham cracker crust offers a crisp, slightly sweet base that complements the filling well.

This pie is ideal for warm weather or occasions where a light, fruity dessert is desired. It can be decorated with whipped cream before serving for added richness and presentation.
