  • 1 tablespoon celery seed
  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • ¼ teaspoon black pepper
  • ½ cup finely chopped onion (red or yellow)
  • ½ cup finely chopped celery
  • ¼ cup finely chopped green bell pepper
  • ¼ cup sweet pickle relish

Instructions

  1. Cook the macaroni: Cook the macaroni according to package directions until al dente. Drain and rinse with cold water to stop the cooking process. Let cool completely.
  2. Make the dressing: In a large bowl, whisk together the mayonnaise, apple cider vinegar, Dijon mustard, sugar, celery seed, salt, and pepper until smooth.
  3. Combine ingredients: Add the cooled macaroni, celery, onion, green bell pepper, and sweet pickle relish to the dressing. Stir well to coat all the ingredients.
  4. Chill: Cover the bowl and refrigerate for at least 2 hours, or preferably overnight, to allow the flavors to meld.
