Angel Hair Pasta with Garlic and Herbs

This Angel Hair Pasta recipe combines tender angel hair pasta with a garlic-infused butter and olive oil sauce accented by fresh herbs. The addition of grated Parmesan cheese and halved cherry tomatoes adds a subtle richness and bright, juicy bursts to each bite. The pasta is lightly seasoned and tossed gently to preserve the delicate texture of angel hair, making it suitable for a light main course or a side dish to accompany proteins or salads.

Description

Angel Hair Pasta with Garlic and Herbs features thin strands of pasta cooked al dente and coated in a simple yet flavorful sauce made from melted butter, olive oil, and minced garlic cooked briefly to release aroma without browning. Fresh herbs, such as parsley, chives, dill, or basil, contribute an herbal freshness, while Parmesan cheese provides a savory depth. The cooking method ensures the pasta remains tender and lightly coated rather than heavy.

Cherry tomatoes sliced in half top the dish, adding natural sweetness and a contrasting texture to the soft pasta. This recipe serves well as a lightly flavored dish on its own or as a base to serve alongside grilled or roasted dishes. It highlights simple, fresh ingredients rather than complex seasoning.

To get the best texture, avoid overcooking the pasta and use freshly grated Parmesan for better taste and melting properties, as pre-grated cheese may not melt as smoothly or taste as rich. Serving soon after preparation is ideal to maintain the pasta's delicate texture.
