Apple Crescent Rolls

Apple Crescent Rolls are made by baking thinly sliced crisp apples wrapped in crescent roll dough brushed with melted vegan butter and sprinkled with a cinnamon-sugar mixture. Baking softens the apples and browns the dough, resulting in a warm, sweet pastry with tender fruit inside and a lightly spiced sugary crust.

Description

This recipe combines thin slices of a crisp apple baked briefly to soften, then individually wrapped in crescent roll dough that has been brushed with melted vegan butter and dusted with a cinnamon-sugar blend. The rolls are finished by brushing the tops with more vegan butter and sugar before baking the whole assembly according to the crescent roll package instructions.

The apple slices become tender yet retain some texture, complementing the soft, flaky crescent dough. The cinnamon and sugar bring warmth and sweetness, while vegan butter adds a rich flavor. Baking at 375°F ensures an evenly cooked treat with nicely browned crusts.

These rolls are best enjoyed warm when the flavors and texture are at their peak. Thin, even apple slices help achieve consistent baking and filling softness.
