Apple Pie Dip

Apple Pie Dip is delicious with all the classic fall flavors in one bowl! Dip homemade cinnamon sugar tortillas in sweet cinnamon apples!

Apple Pie Dip

  • 1 cup apples diced and peeled
  • 2 tablespoons brown sugar
  • ½ tablespoon lemon juice
  • ¼ teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 1 teaspoon all-purpose flour
  • ¼ cup water

Cinnamon Sugar Tortilla Chips

  • 1 white tortilla
  • 1 tablespoon butter melted
  • 2 tablespoons granulated sugar
  • ½ teaspoon ground cinnamon

Instructions

Apple Pie Dip

  1. Place diced apples, brown sugar, lemon juice, and cinnamon in a small baking pan and bring to a boil on medium heat. Allow to simmer for 4-5 minutes, stirring constantly.
  2. Stir together the flour and water in a small bowl to make a slurry. Once the apple mixture begins to thicken stir in the slurry and continue to simmer for 2-3 minutes.
  3. Remove from stovetop and transfer the dip to a serving bowl. Serve warm or at room temperature.

Cinnamon Sugar Tortilla Chips

  1. Preheat your oven to 350 degrees F.
  2. Spread the butter on top of the tortilla. In a small bowl, stir together the sugar and cinnamon. Then sprinkle the cinnamon sugar on top of the tortilla.
  3. Cut the tortilla into wedges and place on a baking sheet.
  4. Bake for 5-8 minutes until the tortillas are crispy and the cinnamon sugar has melted onto the chips. Serve warm or at room temperature.

Notes

  • Nutrition is for 1/2 bowl of dip and 1/2 of the tortilla with toppings.
  • You can make more tortilla chips as desired and even cut them into smaller pieces before baking.
