Ingredients
Honey Ginger Slaw
- 2 c red cabbage, shredded
- 1 carrot, julienned
- 1 sweet onion, sliced
- ½ c crushed pineapples with juice
- 2 tsp soy sauce
- 2 tsp white vinegar
- 2 tsp honey
- 1 tsp ground ginger
Duck Sliders
- 1 lb ground duck
- 2 ½ tsp Chinese five spice powder
- ½ tsp ground ginger
- ¼ tsp garlic powder
- 1/8 tsp red pepper flakes
- 8 slider buns (We used French bread rolls.)

Instructions
Honey Ginger Slaw
- Place the cabbage, carrots, onions and pineapple in a large bowl.
- In a small bowl, whisk together soy sauce, vinegar, honey and ginger until combined. Pour sauce over veggies, and stir until coated.
- Set aside. (This can be made ahead of time and refrigerated for up to 24 hours.
Duck Sliders
- In a medium bowl, mix together ground duck, Five Spice powder, ginger, garlic and red pepper flakes.
- Heat a large skillet over medium-high heat. Form 2 Tbsp of the duck mixture into a patty, roughly 2½ - 3 inches in diameter. Place patties onto the hot skillet and cook for 2 minutes on each side, until the color of the meat has changed and the patty is firm. Remove from heat and continue with the remaining duck mixture.
- To form the sliders, place one patty in each bun and top with the Honey Ginger Slaw.
