Asian Turkey Meatballs
Description
These Asian Turkey Meatballs start with lean ground turkey mixed with whisked egg, thinly sliced green onions, salt, and coconut flour for binding. Formed into approximately 20 meatballs, they are baked at 400 degrees Fahrenheit on parchment paper until no longer pink inside, roughly 15 minutes. Excess fat is drained by transferring the cooked meatballs to a paper towel-lined plate.
Meanwhile, the sauce is prepared by whisking together natural creamy peanut butter (or almond butter), full-fat coconut milk, soy sauce or reduced-sodium coconut aminos, rice vinegar, honey, minced fresh ginger, and sesame oil until smooth. The meatballs are gently folded into the sauce, careful to avoid breaking their delicate texture.
The finished dish is garnished with additional sliced green onion, fresh cilantro leaves, and sesame seeds, giving a fresh herbal note and visual appeal. The meatballs offer a soft, juicy bite paired with a rich, nutty, and tangy sauce, making them a flavorful entree or appetizer option.

- Whisk ALL the sauce ingredients together until smooth and then GENTLY stir in the meatballs (they break easily.)
- Garnish as desired and DEVOUR
