Avocado and Tomato Salad

Avocado and Tomato Salad combines large diced tomatoes and avocados with thinly sliced red onion and cilantro, dressed simply with lime juice and olive oil. The salad delivers fresh, creamy, and tangy flavors with a hint of onion sharpness, making a quick, colorful side dish.

Description

The salad features ripe tomatoes and avocados cut into sizable cubes to maintain their texture. Thinly sliced red onion adds subtle pungency and crunch, balancing the creamy avocado and juicy tomatoes. Chopped cilantro introduces a fresh herbal note. The salad is tossed gently with freshly squeezed lime juice and extra virgin olive oil, enhancing each ingredient's natural flavors while providing acidity and richness.

This preparation results in a vibrant salad ideal as a light side or accompaniment to grilled dishes. The combination of lime and olive oil provides brightness to the creamy and juicy elements, while the onion and cilantro give complexity to the profile.

Salt should be added to taste to elevate the flavors subtly without overpowering the freshness of the ingredients.
