Avocado Bruschetta
Description
This bruschetta recipe starts by toasting baguette slices in the oven until lightly crisp to provide a sturdy base. The topping consists of diced ripe Roma tomatoes and avocado combined with finely diced red onion and minced garlic for a blend of freshness and sharpness. Chopped fresh basil adds an aromatic herbal note, while extra virgin olive oil, salt, and black pepper season the mixture.
The prepared topping is spooned onto the warm toasted bread, creating contrasting textures between creamy avocado, juicy tomato, and crunchy toast. The dish is finished with a drizzle of balsamic reduction, which adds a sweet and tangy glaze that enhances the overall flavor complexity.
This simple bruschetta offers a fresh, colorful appetizer suitable for serving at gatherings or light snacks.
