Bacon Wrapped Smokies are a classic holiday party and football game appetizer! You'll go crazy for the delicious brown sugar glaze!

Ingredients
- 1 pound Bacon
- 14 ounces Lit'l Smokies
- ½ cup butter
- 2 cups brown sugar
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 375 degrees F.
- Cut the bacon into thirds. Wrap one bacon piece around each smokie.
- Place all the wrapped smokies in a single layer in a baking dish.
- Melt the stick of butter and add 1 cup of brown sugar. Stir until mixed well.
- Pour the butter and brown sugar mixture on the smokies.
- Sprinkle the remaining cup of brown sugar evenly over the smokies.
- Bake for about 20 minutes.
- Turn the heat up to 400 degrees F for about 15-25 minutes or until the bacon becomes crispy. (see notes)
Notes
- The original recipe said to cook them at 400 degrees F for 5 minutes, but I found that 20-25 minutes worked great. Check them every 5 minutes or so, and cook to your liking.
