Baked Bananas
Description
Baked Bananas is an uncomplicated dessert or side dish involving halving ripe bananas lengthwise and baking them at 400°F until softened and lightly caramelized. The bananas are coated with honey and a pinch of salt before baking to enhance their natural sweetness and depth of flavor.
After baking for about 15 to 20 minutes, the bananas become tender and juicy. A finishing sprinkle of cinnamon adds a warm, aromatic spice that pairs well with the honey glaze and the soft banana texture.
This dish is minimal in ingredients and preparation but offers a comforting sweet with natural sugars and gentle spice. It can be served as a simple snack or dessert, either warm or at room temperature.
