Baked Chicken Thighs
Description
This recipe starts by patting chicken thighs dry and coating them with olive oil, which helps the seasoning adhere and promotes browning. The spice rub blends savory, smoky, and mildly spicy elements to complement the natural richness of the chicken thighs. Baking at 400°F for 35-45 minutes ensures the skin crisps while the meat inside reaches a safe temperature of 165°F.
The thighs should be arranged so the skin side is up for even roasting. After baking, letting the chicken rest allows juices to redistribute, keeping the meat moist. This simple preparation highlights the flavor and texture contrast between the crisped skin and tender meat beneath.
