Instructions
- Preheat oven: Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Lightly grease a 9x13 inch baking dish.
- Prepare buns: Slice the slider buns horizontally, keeping the top and bottom sections connected.
- Assemble sliders: Spread half of the cranberry sauce on the bottom half of the buns. Layer with sliced turkey and Swiss cheese. Spread the remaining cranberry sauce on top of the cheese. Place the top half of the buns on top.
- Prepare topping: In a small bowl, whisk together the melted butter, Dijon mustard, Worcestershire sauce, thyme, rosemary, salt, and pepper.
- Brush and bake: Brush the topping mixture over the top of the assembled sliders. Cover the baking dish with foil.
- Bake: Bake for 15 minutes. Remove the foil and bake for another 5-10 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and the buns are golden brown.
- Serve: Serve the cranberry turkey sliders warm.
Notes
- Turkey: Use leftover Thanksgiving turkey, deli turkey, or rotisserie chicken.
- Cranberry Sauce: You can use canned cranberry sauce or homemade cranberry sauce.
- Cheese: Swiss cheese is a classic pairing with turkey and cranberry, but you can use other cheeses that melt well, such as provolone, cheddar, or Monterey Jack.
- Buns: Hawaiian rolls are a popular choice for sliders, but you can use other types of slider buns.
- Make-Ahead: You can assemble the sliders ahead of time and refrigerate them until ready to bake. Add a few extra minutes to the baking time if baking from cold.
