Baked Cuban Pork Party Sliders

Baked Cuban Pork Party Sliders assemble Hawaiian rolls layered with roast pork, ham, Swiss cheese, and dill pickles, topped with mayonnaise and brown mustard on the bread halves. A mustard butter mixture is brushed on top before baking to meld flavors and warm the sandwiches, which are cut into 16 small sliders with a tender, savory filling and a buttery, golden crust.

Description

This recipe starts by slicing Hawaiian rolls horizontally without separating the individual buns, then spreading mayonnaise on the bottom half. Layers of Swiss cheese, roast pork, ham, and dill pickles are added before spreading brown mustard on the top half.

A melted butter blend with Dijon and whole grain mustards is brushed on the assembled slider top, which is then baked covered to warm and meld the ingredients, finishing uncovered to slightly brown the crust. The bake time is short to gently heat the sandwich without drying.

Once baked, the large sandwich sheet is cut into 16 smaller sliders suited for party servings or appetizers, offering a combination of savory meats, creamy cheese, tangy pickles, and a soft, slightly crusty roll.
