Baked Mozzarella and Marinara Dip

This baked mozzarella and marinara dip layers fresh baby spinach into warm marinara sauce, topped with slices of fresh mozzarella that broil until bubbly and golden. Served with toasted, garlic-rubbed baguette slices, it creates a rich, creamy appetizer with a balance of tangy tomato, mild spinach, and melted cheese textures.

Description

The Baked Mozzarella and Marinara Dip invites warm marinara sauce and wilted baby spinach to mingle in an oven-safe skillet. Fresh mozzarella slices placed on top melt under the broiler, producing a gooey, bubbling cheese layer that contrasts with the bright tomato base. Topped off with toasted baguette slices, lightly brushed with olive oil and rubbed with garlic, the dip offers a savory, creamy option ideal for sharing.

Broiling the baguette slices first ensures crisp toast that can hold the warm dip without becoming soggy. The garlic rubbed on the bread adds a subtle pungency that complements the cheese and tomato sauce.

Serving immediately preserves the contrast of textures between crisp bread and melty cheese. This dip suits gatherings or casual starters, pairing well with a variety of beverages and side dishes.
