Ingredients

  • 3 tomato sliced, firm
  • salt to taste, sea salt and freshly cracked
  • black pepper to taste, sea salt and freshly cracked
  • garlic powder to taste
  • 2 tbsp Parmesan Cheese
  • olive oil to taste (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 400 degrees. Line a baking sheet with tin foil then coat with cooking spray.
  2. Slice the tomatoes then place them on the baking sheet. Sprinkle each tomato half with sea salt, freshly cracked pepper, and garlic powder, to taste. Top each slice with grated parmesan cheese and a touch of dried basil, to taste. Drizzle a touch of olive oil on each slice, if desired.
  3. Place into the oven and bake for about 15-20 minutes, or until tomatoes are soft and cheese is melted and slightly golden.
  4. Garnish with freshly chopped parsley. Serve immediately or at room temperature. Enjoy.
