Baked Pears with Cinnamon Honey
Description
Baked Pears with Cinnamon Honey highlights tender pears softened in the oven after being peeled and halved, with the core gently scooped out. They are coated in a glaze made from honey, cinnamon, coconut oil, and vanilla extract warmed together to meld flavors. Baking for 30 minutes lets the pears brown and become soft without losing shape, producing a slightly caramelized finish.
The flavor centers on the gentle sweetness of honey paired with the warm spice of cinnamon and a smooth note from coconut oil or butter. The baking method allows the pears to retain body while becoming juicy and soft, with some caramelization adding texture and complexity.
Serve these baked pears warm with extra sauce spooned over, suitable for a light dessert or accompaniment to breakfast or brunch. The recipe is straightforward, relying on fresh fruit and pantry staples, emphasizing natural flavors with minimal fuss.
