Ingredients
- 2 tbsp avocado oil
- 1 bag green beans
- 2 tbsp almonds sliced
- 1 tbsp sesame seeds
- 2 tbsp balsamic glaze
Instructions
- Wash and dry green beans.
- Heat avocado oil in a skillet over medium heat.
- Place green beans in the skillet and cover with a splatter guard.
- Stir with a rubber spatula after 3-4 minutes. Then, add sesame seeds and sliced almonds to the skillet.
- Add 1 tablespoon of balsamic glaze and stir. Cook for another 8-10 minutes. Ensure green beans, almonds, and seeds are toasted.
- Remove green beans from the skillet and plate. Top with more balsamic glaze. You can also add shaved parmesan cheese, red pepper flakes, and whatever other topics you like.
Notes
- Store them in an air-tight container in the fridge for up to 5 days. They're great for meal prep!
- Use a splatter guard! The oil gets hot pretty quickly and you don’t want a mess or to get burnt.
