Banana Bread (no nuts)

Banana Bread (no nuts) is a moist, tender loaf made using ripe mashed bananas, butter, canola oil, sugar, eggs, and flavored with vanilla. It has a soft crumb from the addition of sour cream and a balanced sweetness from the granulated sugar. Baked in a loaf pan at 325° F until done, this bread slices well and makes a comforting snack or breakfast treat without any nuts.

Description

This Banana Bread (no nuts) recipe combines mashed very ripe bananas with softened butter, canola oil, and sugar for a rich and sweet base. Eggs and vanilla add moisture and flavor, while all-purpose flour, baking soda, and salt provide structure. Sour cream is folded in to keep the loaf soft and tender. The batter is mixed until uniform and baked in greased loaf pans at 325° F for about 50-60 minutes. After cooling, the bread has a moist crumb and mild banana taste that is gentle and satisfying without the texture of nuts.

The bread is well suited for breakfast, snacks, or informal dessert. It pairs nicely with coffee or tea and can also be lightly toasted for a warm serving. The absence of nuts makes it suitable for those with allergies or preferences.
