Banana Cake
Description
The recipe starts by creaming softened butter with sugar until light and fluffy, then blending in ripe mashed bananas and beaten eggs. Dry ingredients including flour, baking soda, and salt are sifted and folded into the wet mixture carefully to avoid overmixing. Baking takes place in a greased bundt pan at 350°F for 45 minutes to an hour, until the cake is set in the center and lightly pulling away from the pan edges.
The resulting cake offers a moist crumb with a gentle banana flavor and a golden crust from the butter and sugar roasting during baking. It can be served as a snack, dessert, or breakfast treat.
