Banana Pudding Lasagna
Description
The Banana Pudding Lasagna starts with a crust of finely ground vanilla wafers mixed with melted butter pressed into a dish. The cheesecake layer is a blend of cream cheese whipped with sugar, vanilla, and heavy cream, folded together with thickened banana pudding mix made from instant pudding powder and milk. This creamy mixture is layered alternately with sliced bananas and whole vanilla wafers.
The texture ranges from smooth, fluffy cheesecake to soft banana slices and crisp wafer bites. Refrigeration for at least two hours helps the layers set and flavors to combine. The dessert is served chilled and offers a sweet banana and vanilla profile with a mix of creamy and crunchy elements.
Using ripe yet firm bananas balances flavor and texture without becoming mushy. Preparing components before assembly simplifies layering. Ensure even spreading for clean layers. Allow the dessert to warm slightly at room temperature before serving for the best eating experience.
