Banana Split Cake Mix Cookies
Description
These cookies use a boxed Funfetti cake mix combined with instant banana pudding mix to provide banana flavor and moistness in the dough. Vegetable oil and eggs bind the ingredients into a soft dough. Semi-sweet chocolate chips add mild chocolate notes, while roughly chopped maraschino cherries bring bursts of sweet fruit flavor that contrast with the banana notes.

Ingredients
- 1 (15.25 oz) box Funfetti Cake Mix
- 1 (3.4 oz) box banana pudding mix instant
- 1/2 cup vegetable oil
- 2 egg
- 1/2 cup chocolate chips semi-sweet
- 1/2 cup maraschino cherries roughly chopped
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350ºF.
- In a bowl, mix together the cake mix, pudding mix, oil and eggs. Stir in the chocolate chips. Gently fold in the cherries.
- Form the dough into balls just larger than a walnut and place at least 2 inches apart on an ungreased baking sheet. Bake in the oven for about 10 minutes, or until set.
