  • 1 lb chicken breast
  • 1 lb chicken thighs

Spices for the chicken

  • 2 tsps paprika
  • 2 tsps salt
  • 1 tsp ginger
  • 1 tsp black pepper freshly cracked

For the Bang Bang Sauce

  • 1 tbsp paprika
  • 1 cup mayonnaise
  • 1/2 cup sweet chili sauce
  • 1 tsp ginger
  • 1 tbsp soy sauce low sodium

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) or preheat your air fryer to 400°F (205°C).
  2. In a mixing bowl, whisk together all the ingredients for the Bang Bang Sauce until well combined. Seperate into two bowls, Set aside.
  3. Cut the chicken into 1" cubes and season the chicken with spices.
  4. Thread the chicken pieces onto the soaked wooden skewers, alternating between chicken breasts and thighs. Bask the chicken skewers in bang bang sauce. Discard the marinade sauce.
  5. Bake the skewers in the oven for 20 minutes or until the chicken is cooked through. Alternatively, air fry the skewers for 10-12 minutes, flipping them halfway through the cooking time.
  6. Once the chicken is cooked, brush or spoon the separate Bang Bang Sauce over the skewers, and coat each piece of chicken well. Serve hot.
