Bang Bang Shrimp Pasta
Description
In this recipe, peeled and deveined shrimp are seasoned with paprika, garlic, and black pepper, then sautéed in coconut oil until pink and cooked through. The pasta is cooked separately and drained. A sauce combining mayonnaise, Thai sweet chili sauce, minced garlic, lime juice, and crushed red pepper flakes is mixed to create a creamy and flavorful coating. The warm pasta and shrimp are combined with the sauce, allowing it to meld and slightly warm in the heat of the ingredients.
The dish offers a creamy texture from the mayonnaise-based sauce with a sweet and subtle heat from the chili sauce and red pepper flakes. Lime juice adds brightness, while garlic contributes aromatic depth. The paprika on the shrimp gives a subtle smoky note. Garnished with dried parsley, the pasta serves a balanced mix of spicy, tangy, and savory elements with tender shrimp and al dente noodles.
This pasta works well as a stand-alone dinner or lunch, delivering bold flavor through an accessible recipe that relies on a few key ingredients and steps for a satisfying meal.
