Bean Sprouts with Tofu Recipe

This Bean Sprouts with Tofu dish features crunchy bean sprouts combined with pan-fried firm tofu pieces, seasoned simply with garlic, soy sauce, and scallions. The method ensures the tofu develops a light brown surface while the bean sprouts retain a crisp texture by briefly stir-frying them. A light soy-based seasoning brings subtle savory notes that complement the mild flavors of the tofu and fresh bean sprouts.

Description

Bean Sprouts with Tofu Recipe highlights firm tofu pieces pan-fried until light brown, paired with crunchy bean sprouts cooked just enough to keep their crispness. The stir-fry uses garlic and scallions for aroma and flavor, combined with soy sauce for seasoning. The tofu's texture contrasts with the slight snap of the sprouts, making each bite balanced. Cooking the tofu first and then quickly mixing in the bean sprouts preserves their freshness and crunch.

The dish is simple and can be served immediately as a light meal or side dish with rice. The oil used for pan-frying also carries the garlic flavor throughout the dish.

To keep the bean sprouts crunchy, avoid overcooking by adding them last and stirring briefly. This preserves both color and texture, ensuring the dish is fresh-tasting and satisfying.
