A hearty beef stew recipe made with all-natural ingredients.

Ingredients
- 2 lbs. beef stew meat (lean beef cut into cubes by butcher)
- 1 1/2 - 2 lbs. Yukon gold potatoes (cut into bite size pieces)
- 5-6 large carrots (peeled and sliced)
- 1 large onion chopped
- 2 teaspoons salt
- 1 teaspoon pepper
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder (or 4 garlic cloves finely diced)
- 1 Tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
- 28 ounces beef broth
- 1/4 cup tomato paste
- 2 Tablespoons cornstarch or flour
Instructions
- Place beef stew meat, potatoes, sliced carrots, and chopped onion into a slow cooker. Sprinkle with salt, pepper, garlic powder, and Worcestershire sauce. Pour in beef broth, tomato paste, and cornstarch and stir.
- Heat on low for 8 hours or on high for 6 hours. This beef stew does best cooking low and slow so I suggest cooking it on low for 8 hours.
- Taste for seasoning and add more salt and pepper as needed.
