Best Homemade Chocolate Brownies
Description
Best Homemade Chocolate Brownies begin by creaming butter and mixing it with melted unsweetened chocolate, brown sugar, eggs, and vanilla to form a richly flavored batter. Flour and a pinch of salt are then folded in to create a balanced consistency. The batter is poured into a greased 9x13 inch pan and baked at 350°F for about 30 to 35 minutes.
The brownies develop a dense but tender crumb with a moist texture inside and slightly firmer edges. This recipe allows optional inclusion of nuts or chocolate chips, though the classic form focuses on straightforward chocolate excellence. Testing doneness with a toothpick for moist crumbs ensures the perfect bake.
Once baked, the brownies can be dusted lightly with powdered sugar or served warm with vanilla ice cream for a classic dessert.
This recipe uses standard ingredients and simple methods to produce reliably rich and satisfying brownies.

Notes
- Optional additions like chopped nuts or chocolate chips can be mixed in with the flour and salt before combining.

- Do not overmix the batter after adding the flour to avoid tough brownies.
