Better than a Boyfriend Brownies
Description
This recipe starts by creaming softened butter with granulated and brown sugar until light and fluffy, which incorporates air and adds moistness. Eggs are added one at a time with vanilla for structure and flavor. The dry ingredients include all-purpose and cake flour combined with cocoa powder and salt to balance sweetness and create a tender yet rich consistency.
Folding in semi-sweet chocolate chunks introduces concentrated chocolate bites throughout the brownies. Baking in a 9x13 pan at 350°F for about 28 to 36 minutes produces a classic fudgy texture with slightly crisp edges. The optional swirl of gently warmed dulce de leche mixed into the batter adds an extra layer of soft caramel flavor.
These brownies are dense, moist, and chocolate-forward, suitable for dessert or a special treat. The balanced sugar types and flours create a texture that is chewy yet tender, enhanced by melting chocolate chunks.
