Birthday Cake Cookies

Birthday Cake Cookies feature a sweet, buttery dough mixed with white chocolate chips and rainbow sprinkles, creating a festive cookie with a soft texture and a hint of vanilla. Chilling the dough before baking helps maintain their shape and texture, making them ideal for celebrations or treats.

Description

The cookie dough is prepared by creaming together butter, sugar, and brown sugar until fluffy, then incorporating egg and vanilla extract. The dry ingredients include flour, baking powder, baking soda, and powdered milk, which are sifted and combined gently into the wet mixture. White chocolate chips and colorful sprinkles are folded in to add pockets of sweetness and visual appeal.

Refrigerating the dough for at least 30 minutes helps control spreading during baking, leading to cookies with a tender yet slightly chewy bite and a delicately soft center. Baking at 350°F for 10 to 12 minutes results in cookies that are set but not browned, with a festive look and balanced sweetness.
