Blackened Air Fryer Salmon Bites
Description
This recipe uses skinless salmon filet pieces seasoned with a spice mix of sweet paprika, cayenne, garlic powder, thyme, oregano, salt, and a touch of black pepper. Light olive oil spray helps the seasoning adhere and promotes crisping. Air frying at 400°F for 5 to 7 minutes cooks the salmon quickly while developing a blackened crust without deep frying.
The salmon pieces come out tender and juicy inside with a balanced smoky-spicy flavor and herbs providing bright notes. The short cooking time preserves moisture. Serving with fresh lemon wedges adds acidity that complements the rich fish, and chopped parsley adds color and freshness.
This dish can be served as a snack or appetizer or alongside grains like brown rice for a straightforward main course. The air fryer method allows for rapid preparation with minimal oil.
