Bloody Maria Recipe

The Bloody Maria is a savory cocktail featuring tequila and tomato juice, enriched with lime, lemon, Worcestershire, and Tabasco sauces for a balanced spicy and tangy flavor. A rim coated with celery salt and smoked paprika adds a smoky, salty edge that complements the drink's robust profile. Garnished with olives, pickles, and celery, it is a textured, flavorful beverage suited for occasions when a savory cocktail is desired.

Description

The Bloody Maria blends blanco tequila with tomato juice, enhanced by a mix of citrus juices from lime and lemon, Worcestershire sauce, Tabasco, celery salt, smoked paprika, and freshly ground black pepper. This combination lends layers of tanginess, heat, and depth. The cocktail glass rim is seasoned with a mixture of celery salt and smoked paprika, providing an aromatic and salty accent with each sip.

Ice-filled glass is garnished with lime and lemon wedges, olives, pickle spears, peperoncini, and celery stalks. These add pops of texture and briny, spicy notes, making each serving visually appealing and flavor-rich.

Prepared by mixing all ingredients together and adjusting seasoning to taste, this cocktail can be easily tailored for heat or salt preferences. It works well as a midday or brunch beverage when a refreshing, savory drink is desired.
