Blueberry Cheesecake Frozen Yogurt
Description
This dessert combines plain yogurt and cream cheese blended until smooth, sweetened lightly with honey or agave, and flavored with vanilla extract. Blueberries are pureed and gently folded in to provide bursts of natural fruit flavor and color without overpowering the creamy base.
Crushed graham crackers add texture and a nod to cheesecake crust. After folding in the blueberry puree and crumbs, the mixture is chilled in a freezer-safe container for at least six hours, preferably overnight, to achieve a firm yet creamy frozen yogurt consistency.
This frozen yogurt keeps well for up to two weeks in the freezer and offers a homemade alternative to traditional ice cream or sorbet with moderate sweetness and balanced acidity from yogurt and blueberries.
