  • 1 1/2 cups flour
  • 3 1/2 teaspoons baking powder
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 1 tablespoon sugar
  • 3 tablespoons unsalted butter , melted
  • 1 1/4 cups whole milk
  • 1 large egg , beaten
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 cup blueberries

Instructions

  1. Sift the flour, baking powder, salt, cinnamon, and sugar twice into a large bowl.
  2. In a medium bowl whisk together butter, milk, egg, and vanilla extract until smooth.
  3. Add in flour mixture and whisk until just combined.
  4. Stir in blueberries.
  5. Let sit for 5 minutes.
  6. Scoop 1/4 cup batter onto lightly buttered griddle on medium heat and cook until bubbles form.
  7. Flip and cook for 20 seconds.
