Blueberry Peach Cobbler Recipe

Blueberry Peach Cobbler combines fresh blueberries and canned peach slices with a cinnamon-spiced batter that cooks into a soft and slightly crisp topping. The batter is poured into melted butter before the fruit is added on top and baked, resulting in a warm, homey dessert with a tender cake-like texture and sweet-tart flavor. This cobbler is enjoyable served warm, especially alongside vanilla ice cream.

Description

This Blueberry Peach Cobbler Recipe begins with a flour-based batter containing sugars, salt, brown sugar, baking powder, cinnamon, and milk, mixed and poured over melted butter in a casserole dish. Fresh blueberries and sliced canned peaches are gently placed over the batter before baking. Baking at 350°F for 45 minutes causes the batter to rise and brown around the edges while cooking through, creating a soft cake topping with a hint of cinnamon and sweetness.

The fruit fillings release juices that mix with the sweet batter, providing moisture and bursts of tangy-sweet flavor. The texture balances tender, cake-like dough with juicy fruit pockets. Serving warm with vanilla ice cream adds a cool creaminess that complements the warm cobbler.

This dessert is straightforward and requires no special techniques beyond melting butter and mixing a simple batter. The combination of berries and peaches provides pleasant color and flavor contrast. Enjoy freshly baked for the best texture and taste.
