Ingredients
- 4 ripe bananas
- 1 cup light brown sugar
- 1/2 cup butter melted
- 1 large egg
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 2 cups all purpose flour
- 1 teaspoon baking powder
- 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon cinnamon

Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit and spray a 9X5 loaf pan with non-stick cooking spray.
- Place the bananas in a large mixing bowl and mash them bananas.
- Stir in the melted butter, brown sugar, egg and vanilla extract until well combined.
- In a separate bowl, whisk together the flour, baking powder, baking soda, salt and cinnamon.
- Slowly whisk the flour mixture into the banana mixture until just combined and there are no lumps.
- Pour the batter into the loaf pan.
- Bake for 50-55 minutes until a toothpick inserted into the center of the bread comes out clean. Closely watch the bread and if the top starts getting too brown, lightly tint the bread with foil.
- Let the pan cool in the pan for 10-15 minutes and then carefully remove the bread from the loaf pan and let the bread cool completely on a wire rack.
- Then the bread is ready to slice, serve and enjoy!
Notes
- Store any leftover bread in an airtight container at room temperature for up to 4-5 days.
